Returns & Exchanges

We hope you love your Made by Mortals pieces, but if something isn’t quite right, we’re happy to offer a refund, exchange, or store credit on full-priced items, provided a few simple conditions are met.

To start a return, please email us at hello@madebymortals.com within 7 days of receiving your order, here we will provide an RA number and return details. Items must be unworn, unwashed, and in original condition with all tags still attached. Please note that jewellery cannot be returned. Returns must be sent using a trackable shipping method, and your RA number should be clearly visible on the parcel. Customers are responsible for return postage costs.

Refunds

Refunds are available on full-priced items and will incur a $10 AUD processing fee per item. Please note that original shipping fees, customs duties, and taxes are non-refundable.

Exchanges

Exchanges are possible if your requested item is in stock at the time we receive your return. We are unable to hold items, if the requested product has sold out, we’ll issue a store credit. Store credits are valid for 2 years and can be used at any time during that period.

Sale Items

Please note that sale items are final sale and cannot be returned, exchanged, or refunded. This includes permanently marked-down items or those purchased using a discount code, excluding our welcome code.

Faulty

Please note that minor variations in colour (due to different screens or devices), minor variations in measurements, or small differences in handmade pieces are not considered faults and are not eligible for return.

We also want to inform you about the nature of our block printing. As all our prints are done entirely by hand, there may be slight, natural variations in colour intensity across the fabric, some areas might appear darker, while others lighter. These variations are an inherent part of the handcrafting process and contribute to the unique charm and individuality of each piece.

However, if you believe you’ve received a faulty item, please contact us at hello@madebymortals.com as soon as possible. If, upon assessment, we determine that the item is truly faulty, we will replace it where possible. If a replacement is not available, we’ll arrange a refund.

Cancellation

If you need to cancel your order, get in touch with us as quickly as possible after placing it. Once an order has shipped, we’re unable to cancel it.
